Cult of the Dragon Siege Event to Begin May 25th

Neverwinter is soon to come under siege. The Cult of the Dragon is ready to bring forces to bear against the city starting on Thursday, May 25th. The event is scheduled to run until Thursday, June 8th and will feature a number of things in which players can participate. And what event is any good without rewards? Yep, they have those too!

Players can take part in:

• protecting the city's workers so they finish their jobs as well as push back the Cult forces
• Counter Attack - take the fight to the bad guys
• Dragon Attack - fight dragons outside the city gates

Players will be able to earn a number of different currencies that can be used in a variety of ways. Most notably, the Writ of Commendation is earned for participating in daily quests. Fourteen of them can be used to purchase the Siegebreaker Griffon mount.  Other rewards that can be purchase include the Champion's Charger mount, Champion's Banner, Defender's Pack, Battlefield Scavenger's Pack, Event Companions, Event Fashion and Event Dye.
