Following in the footsteps of Quantum Break, Pearl Abyss took to Twitter to announce their upcoming open world Crimson Desert has been delayed.
Crimson Desert was received a lengthy gameplay trailer during The Game Awards in December. If you missed it, we’ve got you covered here. In fact, shortly after that gameplay trailer, we received two more videos which contained additional details on the game.
However, Pearl Abyss recently just announced the delay of Crimson Desert. They noted on Twitter,
“We are currently hard at work developing Crimson Desert which is rapidly evolving with new adventures and exciting experiences. However, we have decided that we need to dedicate more time to adding new ideas for an even deeper, more enriching game. Therefore, in order to create the best possible experience, all the while ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved in delivering the game, we have decided to delay Crimson Desert’s release. We will provide an updated schedule in the future. “
You can check out the full details of the post here. As of now, we don’t yet know when exactly this new release will be. In Crimson Desert, we’ll adventure in the lands of Pywel which has been plagued with hardships, monster, and wars. Pearl Abyss is touting mythical beasts, maniacal rulers, dangerous mercenaries, and a vast continent.
