If you’re one of the many Temtem players that has been eagerly anticipating the next patch update, you’re in luck as Crema has finally released some exciting details about what's to come in patch 1.3. This new update will include several new game modes, a new area, a new currency, and much more.

It has been nearly 6 months since Temtem fully released, and Crema has been working hard at creating new experiences for players. If you’ve been wanting a little more difficulty in your monster battles, you may find that the most notable addition in patch 1.3 is the Challenge Mode. Players who are up for a challenge will find three new game modes, each with their own unique set of rules and limitations. These modes will run on separate servers and use different save slots, so players don't have to worry about losing their Temtems in modes the free them when they are defeated.

The first of these modes is the Nuzlocke mode, which will impose some challenging rules on tamers. In this mode, players can only catch the first two Temtem they encounter on each route, and any Tems that faint during their adventure will be released. The second mode, Randomlocke, adds an element of randomness to the Nuzlocke rules, where almost everything that can be random will be random. The third mode is a Speedrun, where the objective is to complete the game as fast as possible. Completing any of these modes will reward players with exclusive rewards for their main save slot.

Patch 1.3 will also introduce a new area called Nanto Labs, where tamers can exchange their Lumas for Luma Drops, a new currency that can be used in a new shop. The Luma drop shop will allow tamers to purchase previously un-purchasable items, like special Dyes and TemCardX.

In addition to these new features, patch 1.3 will also include a new season called Clash of Tamers, along with a new Tamer Pass full of new cosmetic items, mounts, and emotes. Crema has also balanced the price of some items, tweaked the rewards in some Tamer's Paradise activities, and fixed plenty of bugs. With Patch 1.3 set to launch on March 6th, fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks. If you haven’t had the chance to play Temtem yet, or you’re still on the fence about trying this MMO monster battler, check out our comprehensive review.
