The upcoming cozy MMORPG Spellfarers will be launching into early access on July 29th, bringing a casual adventure to the masses.
Digital Leisure Inc. has revealed that Spellfarers will be coming soon, but what exactly is it and what niche does the title fit into? From taking a look at Steam, the casual MMORPG gives a bit of a Disney Dreamlight Valley feel, as we can craft, fish, build, and more throughout our playthrough.
According to the Spellfarers FAQ, the full launch is expected to happen sometime during quarter one of 2025, but there is little information on concrete dates right now. The FAQ also states that during the early access stage, we will be able to grow and gather ingredients, cast spells, and build but there may be a few bugs along the way. The developers encourage feedback during early access, as they want to handle balancing issues and bugs as quickly as possible with “regular patches.”
The trailer on Steam showcases that early access will become available free of charge on July 29th, but that could change, as the release date category still only shows coming soon. Only time will tell whether or not the title makes its debut this month or if it gets pushed back a little.
