Interdimensional Games has announced that its sci-fi simulation game Consortium: The Tower has become the fourth fully funded title on Fig. Between investors and crowd-sourced backers, iDGi raised $345,000 and will be preparing the game for a 2018 release.
CONSORTIUM: The Tower, the second in the CONSORTIUM trilogy, is a standalone single-player, first-person sci-fi simulation set in the hyper-futuristic Churchill Tower, an immense skyscraper in the heart of 2042 London. The experience of The Tower is one of absolute freedom of movement, speech and action, within a single-location, sandbox environment. Each player’s narrative in the trilogy is shaped by their own actions and decisions, which have consequences that carry over into the next installment. The Tower utilizes and expands upon the iDGi-1 Interactive Storytelling technology and dynamic fourth-wall-shattering concepts that made the original CONSORTIUM a hit.
