In last Friday's EverQuest Next / Landmark live stream, Terry Michaels revealed that, while the team is currently focused on the PC version of the game, there is the possibility it will be delivered to consoles at some point in the future. "It's really in our heads to see it (speaking of Landmark) on consoles." Michaels said.
The team said that, while challenges to doing so exist, they are confident that it can be done. They are committed to getting the PC version out first but would love players to bring along their PlayStation and XBox friends as well. The conversation takes place about the 22:00 minute mark.
In addition to this, Terry Michaels said that ties with Storbricks have been cut.
“We are not working with Storybricks any more. We made the decision that it was in the best interest of the game to take that work in-house.”
