After two years publishing Round8’s Bless Unleashed on consoles, Neowiz has announced that the the servers will shut down at the end of November.
“We've been publishing Bless Unleashed in partnership with Round8 since 2020, and we've enjoyed our time with our wonderful players. Unfortunately, this time is coming to an end. Our agreement with Round8 has come to an end, and we will not be able to continue supporting the game.”
Bless Unleashed is a reboot of Bless Online. This shutdown will only affect the console versions, as the PC version was published last year under a different deal. As of September 1st, the ability to purchase items of the Lumena currency has been removed from the Microsoft and Sony stores. All of the items in the shop have also been discounted to 1 Lumena so players can have the chance to use up any currency they might have and also get to try some of the items they may never have had the chance to before.
The servers are set to shut down at 11AM Pacific time on November 30th. The team says that there will be support via ticketing and live chat through the end of the year, as needed. In the months that remain, there will continue to be GM events until the servers are set to close, so for those who still remain active in the community there are still some activities to come..
While there won’t be more updates, with some events to continue and shop items discounted almost to nothing, there’s still time to get in there for some final memories before the game shuts down.
Bless Unleashed will continue to be available on PC. That version, which also features blockchain elements, was released and was taken over via a new deal under Valofe and will continue to get updates as well.
