Conqueror’s Blade is beginning its latest season, this time with an Ancient Chinese-inspired update, Eternal. The new update adds a new game mode called Escalation, and adds a new season’s worth of units, artillery, Battle Pass, a campaign and events.

The new campaign and Battle Pass mark a return to Ancient China for Conqueror’s Blade, following the Dynasty update. This time, the campaign will bring you to Lingyun, the borderlands, and later, Longting, as the season goes on. Finally, late in the season, things will extend to Daicheng.

These locations and the rollout over the season is also accompanied by the three new units. The first, three-star Wuxing Pikemen, have fiery spears and use elemental attacks on their enemies. The second new unit, the four-star Crescent Monks, use weapons that resemble shovels to battle their enemies. The five-star Yanyuedao Cavalry is the final unit, and offers a new mounted option. The update accompanies these new units with a new artillery piece, the Divine Raven, which has a large range and, importantly, blast radius.

Escalation is a new Siege mode that will let you replace units anytime during the match. This means you'll have to be flexible and have more strategy in your team play because things can change at any given moment. Choosing the units that you place is part of the battle itself, and because of the nature of the mechanics, you'll have to be responsive with your counters as well as your attacks.

As the season goes on, you'll be able to get rewards through the Battle Pass, with many of them exclusive to the Eternal season. After you activate the bpss, you will be able to get the Wandering Hero attire, and if you rank up, you'll get a chance to earn yourself the Hundred Victories Hero attire at tier 100.
