Concord’s early access beta available to pre-orders took place over the weekend, but for those of you still on the fence, worry not, PlayStation will hold an open beta for its upcoming hero shooter beginning on July 18 at 10AM PDT.
The open beta will run between July 18 and July 21 and will be available on PC and PlayStation 5. Players who participated in the early access beta will see their progress carried over to open beta in a couple of days.
All 16 freegunners were available in the early access beta along with four maps and three modes, including Cargo Run, Clash Point, and Trophy Hunt. Trophy Hunt is the game’s version of Team Deathmatch with respawns and Cargo Run and Clash Point are modes part of a no respawn playlist that opens up once the player achieves level six.
The open beta will add a new mode, Area Control, as well as a new map, Bone Mines. Area Control is another respawn mode where players will vie for control of capture points scattered throughout the map.
Concord arrives on PC and PlayStation 5 on August 23. The base game is available for $39.99 while a Digital Deluxe edition can be purchased for $59.99. All post-launch updates will be included with the game’s purchase.
