The Heroes of the Storm PTR has been updated with a large patch that lays out big changes coming to several heroes, including Chromie. In addition, the game's next event, Caldeum Complex, is revealed and devs announce the merger of both the Hero League and Team League. The new competitive play is called "Storm League" and is available to players with at least 16 heroes and an account level of 50+.
Lucio will see a number of abilities removed or placed in different tiers. "Lucio's rewrok is unlocking some new ways to help your allies and further harass your enemies!" the post reads. Most of his wall ride abilities are gone, with a basic form now considered his "Z", or mount, ability.
Chromie has been retooled to "create various degrees of success" so that she "doesn't feel like the same all-or-nothing mage".
Players will also find the Hero Roles update that places each of the characters in one of six categories including Tank, Bruiser, Support, Healer, Melee Assassin and Ranged Assassin.
You can read the PTR update notes on the Heroes of the Storm site.
