Aloft, Astrolabe Interactive’s co-op survival crafting sandbox, published by Funcom, has sold 200,000 copies since Early Access launch. The team announced the new milestone as well as an effort to celebrate Earth Day with a special donation to protect rainforests.
The game entered Early Access January and the team announced $100,000 copies moved by early February To mark Earth Day and the growing community, Astrolabe has partnered with Cool Earth. Cool Earth is a way for anyone who wants to help fundraise to support climate action and conservation, including rainforest protection, and other natural preservation by streaming content.
Aloft was recently part of the Earth Appreciation Festival on Steam. Astrolabe joined with other developers and content creators to showcase “nature” and “exo-dystopian” titles, including via streams and demos. With today's announcement, they announced that they're donating 5% of their net revenue from streams during the festival to Cool Earth.
