My.com has sent word that Cloud Pirates, its airship shooter, will be starting closed beta testing on October 18th. The first CBT event will run through October 24th and will feature twenty-one ships in three weight categories and be able to participate in four different game modes on four maps.
Interested players are invited to head to the Cloud Pirates site to sign up to potentially be chosen as a closed beta tester. Those who want guaranteed access can check out the current line up of Founders' Packs that are available for purchase at $9.99, $29.99 and $39.99.
