Closed Beta Extended Through January 31st

The Sea of Thieves Facebook page has been updated with a brief note to let players know that the closed beta has been extended for an extra two days due to "some players having a rocky time getting into the game". As a result, closed beta testers will be able to play through January 31st. There is also an accompanying post on the Sea of Thieves site, however, the site is currently unavailable.

In addition, a new blog post is on the official site (though, again, the site is down) that introduces players to the Gold Horders. You can try reaching the post here.
