If you’re unfamiliar with Trimurti online, the game offers an extensive storyline, captivating solo and party quests, boss hunts, raids, and a philosophy of no cash shop, making it a standout for old-school MMO enthusiasts. The game lists general features such as guild wars, free and ranked PvP arenas, and duels as additional features, although in-depth details are left to their gameplay videos and patch notes, where you can find extensive information over the changes the team has put forth as the game barrels towards launch.
Trimurti Online is set in an Indian themed world, that takes what Tantra Online has built and renewed it utilizing Unreal Engine 5, however the team states they specifically used old models to give the game more of a classic feel, and breed a sense of nostalgia for the original.
The game is currently in an exciting phase, with an Open Alpha playtest now available. Players eager to experience this refreshed world can head to the Steam store page and apply for playtesting, with access granted from December 1st to December 20th. This playtest allows players to explore all eight tribes, test out tribe skills from level 1 to 45, and experiment with tribe items from level 1 to 40. It's a unique opportunity to experience the game's diverse elements, including item prefixes and suffixes, partying with friends, and dungeon raiding in the enigmatic Mandara Dungeon. For those that haven’t experienced Tantra Online the setting will certainly feel like a standout from many of the eastern fantasy games they are used to.
The latest update to Trimurti Online brings an array of new features and improvements. Players can now encounter new boss loot in Shambala and Jina, and earn unique rewards like the Guardian of Mandara and Shambala Wings for defeating bosses in these areas. The team put a lot of work into the character customization, and they’ve shown off some of the cosmetic items you can earn, which aim to make your character look not only visually appealing, but powerful as well.
The update also introduces new Shambala Bulletin Subjugation Quests, meant to enhance the game's challenge and the team at GameOlic has also adjusted the stats and gold values of various wings, implemented homing projectiles for magic skills and arrows, and fixed several gameplay and interface issues. Trimurti Online has expressed that they remain a true free-to-play MMORPG without any cash shop or item mall, where player effort and skill are the keys to advancement.
