Classic & Basic Cards to Undergo Big Changes

Blizzard devs have announced a series of changes to several cards in both basic and classic decks. The basic philosophy is that new cards should have an impact on Standard cards and enrich Wild in order for Hearthstone to stay as fun as it is for players.

Changes will go into effect with patch update 5.0 when the "Year of the Kraken" begins at the release of Whispers of the Old Gods takes place on April 26th.
