Citizen Con Presentation Centers on Upcoming Alpha Plans

On Sunday, October 9th, the Star Citizen team took to the stage at CitizenCon to talk about forthcoming plans for upcoming alpha phases, what features will be added at what stage of development and so on. In addition, gameplay footage showing a mission carried out on a procedurally-generated planet.

The plan for development is to take Star Citizen from Alpha 3.0 to Alpha 4.0 within the next year and will add systems including piracy, mercenaries, bounties, salvage & repair, farming, rescue, inter-star system travel and much, much more.

The video also discusses Squadron 42 and its growth over the past frew years. This includes over three hundred speaking roles, twenty hours of "performance capture" and more.
