A new Indiegogo project has cropped up from Chuwi, this time the MiniBook, a full-fledged laptop taking up only 8" of space. The company determined the 8" mark after research indicated that it was the perfect size for tablet users. They say that good things come in small packages and the Chuwi MiniBook is proof of that.
There will be two versions available, each with its own specifications & price plan.
- Standard Version: Intel Celeron N4100 processor - $399 or $449 after the campaign ends
- Premium Version: Core M3-8100Y processor - $499 or $549 after the campaign ends
Both versions will also include:
- 8GB LPDDR3 memory
- 128GB of storage
- further expansion is available with an M.2. SSD
- 7000mAh battery
- x2 USB Type A ports
- x1 USB Type C port
- Mini-HDMI out
- dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi
