Chrono Odyssey, the space-time bending open world game developed by South Korean developer NPIXEL, has released a series of monster models that border on the freakish, just in time for Halloween. We’ve compiled each of the short teasers in one place so you can get your fright on with a look at some of the fearsome enemies you’ll be facing when you set foot on Setera.

Over the past month, Chrono Odyseey has been releasing some details about the world of Setera, which includes listing a few of the monsters you’ll encounter along your journey. The first clip depicts Gaiana, the accursed saint, flanked by two hulking knights. In the second clip, we see Tarasque, a ferocious quadruped beast with rows of horns adorned across its body. Next, we see the Wicked Ruler, modeled after a powerful demon, and finally, we see Zenox, a monster with a distinct spellcaster feel.

Each of these models are beautifully rendered in Unreal Engine 5, and it certainly shows, especially with some of the details shown on enemies like Zenox. The team has also teased a model of a Void Dragon, which was a Rodinian dragon reanimated by the Void – one of the most dangerous foes in Chrono Odyssey.

Although there is a lot we still don’t know about Chrono Odyssey you can find a list of everything that we do know in our information roundup. While initially planned for a 2022 release that included testing in 2021 and a Mobile release, Chrono Odyssey has kept their new release window set for 2024. That means that there’s a good chance that we’ll see testing headed to the various release platforms, Steam, XBOX Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 next year.
