The Chrono Odyssey team has revealed that they conducted a two-week focus group test recently, with the team getting new feedback.
The test included 65 participants, so it was a pretty small tst, but should help guide the team in getting things ready for the eventual global release. The studio shared this info on social media, along with a few photos of testers alongside their rigs displaying the game. It’s another step in the development process and another small peek at what awaits in the time-bending buy to play MMORPG.
“Our 65 amazing testers have just completed the 14-day FGT of Chrono Odyssey.??Their feedback is invaluable, and we can't wait to bring you the best gaming experience! ” - the post said.
The post was brief and included no details, and the screens are somewhat blurred, but there is an MMORPG in there, and getting to the focus group test stage does increase the potential for playtesting announcements to come.
The team, after mostly silence after announcing the game, has released small clips over time, and made a bigger splash at the Epic State of Unreal showcase back in March. That presentation took us into some of their goals for the game, and came along with the first full trailer. There’s no info on the test that was conducted, but the fact that it is happening and they’re getting feedback to refine things is another reminder that it’s on the way.
Chrono Odyssey was recently included in Kakao Games’ financial reports, showing a 2025 release window, along with ArcheAge 2, which had previously been listed as after 2025.
