After completing a successful KickStarter campaign earlier this year, the Orbus VR team has sent word that the game will be launching into Early Access on December 15th. This includes both a Steam version and Oculus as well. Players can get in on the action for $40.
Orbus VR features traditional MMO game play including PvE and PvP modes, dungeons, world bosses and other, more sedate activities including fishing and potion-making. Players will choose from one of four "distinct playstyles".
- As a Warrior, ferociously defend your friends with sword and shield, blocking their blows and taking the brunt of the attack and dealing powerful combo attacks in return.
- As a Ranger, skillfully fire arrows from a distance and improve your damage with each precise hit, choosing arrow types for changing circumstances.
- As a Musketeer, choose between blasting your enemies with bullets and healing your companions with your turret.
- As a mysterious Runemage, study the art of drawing over 25 spells, many very difficult to master, and blast your enemies with destructive magic! Then teleport through the world or revive fallen strangers.
