KCON, the largest Korean-entertainment-centric convention in the U.S. has plans this year to host a special "Ongamenet League of Legends Champions Festival - Special Greet & Match". The celebration will include four Q&A sessions, autograph/photo sessions with LoL pro-gamers and friendly 5v5 pro-gamer LoL matches.
“E-Sport is an important part of the Hallyu wave,” said Mark Shaw, CEO of CJ E&M. “That is why teaming up with ‘League of Legends’ to bring this special event to KCON is a no-brainer.”
Two sessions will run each day from 11-1:30 and from 3:30 to 6pm, and tickets go on sale Monday, July 21st.
KCON is happening August 9-10 in Los Angeles. For more information, visit the show's official website.
