Lost Ark’s ‘2 Extreme’ update is coming tomorrow dn will bring the Valtan Extreme 8-player raid, the Arkesia Festival and second anniversary celebrations, along with events, and more.
Downtime will start overnight at around 1 AM PT, lasting for four hours.
Valtan Extreme is almost here, with two versions of the raid becoming available –Normal and Hard. Take on this challenging version of the raid, Normal will require item level 1580 and Hard will require item level 1620. If you clear the first two gates, you will earn some first time clear rewards (and regular rewards on repeated attempts). Pick your character carefully, because your roster can only enter this raid once every two weeks. While gate progress will be bound to the character that clears the first gate, there are options. The Gate Reset option lets you try again on a different difficulty or with another character.
It’s time to celebrate with the Arkesia Festival, marking Lost Ark’s 2nd anniversary. During the festivities there will be a new daily login reward track and a new Fever Time event that both feature anniversary goodies. Each week during the festival, there will be a new co-op event quest to participate in, to take on the challenge and earn some tokens that you can trade in for a number of rewards.
The full patch notes detail each of the weekly quests, which includeHaving to break a gourd collectively to get anniversary tokens, turning into a giant pinata and racing to the finish line, and more. Anniversary tokens are what you will trade for a number of rewards in the event shop that include progression and honing materials, and special skins.
Another anniversary event is the Birthday Bash event that will let you relive a number of significant events in Lost Ark content from the past year. Re-experiencing these pieces of content can earn you some additional rewards.
