Independence Day in GTA Online is a time to celebrate, with a free monster truck, discounted fireworks launcher, and more to keep you festively occupied.
Free monster truck is probably all you need to say to get some folks to log in, and the Vapid Liberator is indeed free. Head to Warstock Cache & Carry to make some childhood monster truck dreams come true. This week also includes themed liveries –The Stars & Stripes, Eagle Claw, Eagle Claw Flag, and Fighting Freedom–are all free to claim.
Since it's Independence Day, there are a number of discounts on themed vehicles, customizations, and related extras. These include the firework launcher, firework ammo, themed face paints and clothing, select haircuts and masks, MK II weapon finishes, Western Sovereign motorcycle, the Patriot Parachute, and the USA chute bag. If you find the gun van, you'll be able to purchase the firework launcher and musket at discounts.
There’s also a dynamic event called Finders Keepers. In this event, you'll have to watch out for gangs that are escorting goods across Los Santos and your mission is to disrupt their supply chains. Take transport vehicles you come across and bring them to your own businesses and use them to top up on free supplies. Finders keepers, after all. If you don't own a suitable business, you can deliver the goods to a drop off point to get GTA$ and RP.
Speaking of GTA$ and RP, hangar sell missions are also more lucrative through July 5th, with double rewards on offer. Finally if you're up to it, business battles are up in Freemode. They pay out 3x GTA$ and RP all week and if you do well enough to deliver cargo, there are a number of bonuses to walk away with.
