CD Projekt RED has provided a warning for some Cyberpunk 2077 mods citing a vulnerability in external DLL files.

Some time ago, Cybeprunk 2077 received official modding tools. The team Tweeted earlier outlining the risk of external DLL files which could be used by nefarious actors to execute foreign code on your PC,

“If you plan to use @CyberpunkGame mods/custom saves on PC, use caution. We've been made aware of a vulnerability in external DLL files the game uses which can be used to execute code on PCs. Issue will be fixed ASAP. For now, please refrain from using files from unknown sources.”

Note, the team here is not stating to not use mods. Instead, they’re issuing a heads up of this vulnerability. Therefore, as with all modding, mod the game at your own risk. If you are keen on modding, however, we have a list of some of the best mods (we believe) have released so far. These tweak driving, to ini tweaks, plus the ability to change your appearance after the character creation.
