Patch 1.1 was Cyberpunk 2077’s first major patch, but it brought about a game-breaking bug. Developer CD Projekt RED have responded with a workaround.
The patch, which released Friday, brought about stability improvements to PC, consoles, and Stadia. It’s the first of two major patches announced by CDPR in a recent video. The second patch is set for February sometime.
However, Patch 1.1 brought about a game-breaking bug. In reporting by Forbes, the bug manifests when Takemura gives you a call in the quest, “Down the Street.” He’ll call you…but won’t say anything. Obviously, this means you cannot continue.
CDPR is aware of this and offered a workaround while they look into the issue further:
- Load a gamesave before Takemura and V leave Wakako's office.
- Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office right away
- Right after the finished conversation and when the quest was updated, skip 23h.
- See if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura starts
