CCP Announced PLEX For GOOD in COVID-19 Relief Efforts

EVE Online devs, CCP, have announced PLEX For GOOD in the wake of COVID-19. Here are the details.

The post starts by listing the money raised by this initiative for the various disasters and causes since 2005 including the tsunami, the Haiti earthquake, and the Australian bushfires. The post then discusses the current global situation,

“We now face an unprecedented global challenge for all humankind, and given the global nature of EVE and the solidarity of the EVE community, we are activating PLEX for GOOD again to begin on 3 April 2020 with the aim of raising funds for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.”

Any money raised through PLEX For GOOD will aid the WHO in their effort to ort countries to prevent, detect, and respond to COVID-19. If you want to participate in this initiative,  contract PLEX in-game to the character CCP PLEX for GOOD

All the real-world money equivalent of the PLEX collected will be donated to the  COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund at the end of the campaign. The team is requesting a minimum donation of 240 PLEX.
