Castle Ravenloft Dungeon Will Ultimately Pit Players Against Strahd Von Zarovich

The latest Neverwinter developer diary has been posted that provides a first-look at the upcoming dungeon, Castle Ravenloft. It will arrive as part of the Ravenloft content expansion coming to PC later this month. Called Castle Ravenloft, the adventure through the dungeon will ultimately see players facing off against the lord of the manor himself, Strahd Von Zarovich.

The blog provides a bit of background information about the castle and about Strahd as well as how he exerts himself from the first steps inside. 

Once in the courtyard, the sisters of Strahd will put any adventuring party’s coordination and teamwork to the test. If your party isn’t ready for the challenges to come, you may not even make it inside the castle’s doors.

If you do, the opulent hallways of Castle Ravenloft will prove no less deadly as animated armor and legions of Strahd’s vampiric minions lie in wait. Outside a raging thunderstorm grows with each passing moment as you fight your way closer to the final confrontation.
