Earlier this week Capcom released an update roadmap for Dragon’s Dogma 2, outlining plans to address a number of key pain points, though performance improvements are curiously absent.
Arguably the most important feature on the roadmap is one that is inexplicably absent from the current game: the simple ability to delete your save file and restart your game from scratch. Why this wasn’t available at launch is anyone’s guess, but this functionality will be coming to all platforms in the “near future.”
To all Dragon's Dogma 2 players! We're planning to release patches including the following updates and fixes in the near future, and will release them as soon as they are ready for distribution on each platform.Thank you for your patience and support! pic.twitter.com/aQoV3URH4C

The rest of the changes planned fall into your typical quality-of-life and bug fixes category, with plans to update the “Art of Metamorphosis” quantity available at Pawn Guilds to 99, allowing players to save and rest earlier in the game by moving up when players acquire the associated quest, various bug fixes, and improvements to a smattering a graphics options.
Speaking of bugs, players have been losing it over some sort of mysterious plague affecting their pawns. I won’t get into spoilers, but I will say this: don’t trust strange pawns. Otherwise you may have to aggressively wash (read: drown) your main pawn.
