The most recent community update from Camelot Unchained points to some progress as the game looks like it’s starting to take shape.

The theme of the post was “persistence, performance, and progression.” To that end, the update notes the team is continuing to grow,

“We keep working on CU, keep adding to the team, and slowly (and not so slowly at times), a game is starting to emerge.”

Performance, it seems, isn’t up to their liking yet but the team continues to work on it to improve. Character progression is also a tough nut to crack, and the goal is to get this progression to persist from test to test. The goal with some upcoming work is get character skills to improve between server wipes.

The update also touches on Dragon’s Web, giants, NPC behavior stack upgrades, time of day, upgraded item restrictions, bug fixes, pathfinding, rendering improvements, server stability, spirit mages, terrain, trees, fixes, VFX, animations, and much more.

You can check out the full lengthy update here.
