The post, written by Mark Jacobs, starts off by sharing news of new hires to the team, with four new members added. The new crew consists of two engineers, and two game designers. One of the designers will be focusing on Final Stand: Ragnarok. The other game designer will be working on Camelot Unchained.
That second engineer is Christopher Junior, who was the Game Director & Senior Systems Designer for Rift. Chris also worked on EverQuest II as a Senior Game Designer there with a focus on PvP. Additional information shared in this update include several updates on the technical state of the game including mesh simplifier, player scale support, bug fixes to tags, and UI bug fixes.
The update also includes a bunch of concept art and images. For example, the team showed off current grass cards compared to some upcoming ones which look much more natural. The post ends with a late breaking news piece on Hatchery, with a performance increase fix implemented there.
