Destiny 2 Episode Revenant Act 2 is set to drop early next week and Bungie’s revealed a ton of new details on the upcoming content drop as part of its latest developer livestream.
Revenant Act 2 will further the story of Fikrul, the Fanatic and Bungie wil drop all of the Act’s story content concurrently with its release on Tuesday, November 19. This is a change from how Bungie typically releases content and is part of the studio’s new content model.
The new drop will add a host of new weapons, the Tomb of Elders activity, and the true endgame – lots of cosmetics for players to add to their collection.
Tomb of Elders was one area of focus for Bungie’s latest livestream. This activity is a new spin on Destiny 1’s Prison of Elders, bringing back much of what players loved about it D1 while also incorporating aspects of popular Destiny 2 activities such as The Coil, Deep Dives, and Riven’s Lair.
Two new seasonal weapons and a returning weapon from Season of the Splicer are also arriving with Act 2. These weapons include the Noxious Vetiver sub machine gun, the Scavenger’s Fate shotgun, and the Gridskipper pulse rifle.
Bungie also gave players a look at the Destiny 2 x Street Fighter 6 collaboration’s cosmetics. This collab was leaked earlier in October, but the livestream gave excited players a peek at the new cosmetics, which include new emotes, finishers, ghost shells, and more.
