The tweets range from issues that are outstanding, to what the team deems as “vital information”. Here is the initial tweet, and players should certainly check the thread for more in-depth information:
Before Destiny 2: Beyond Light and Season of the Hunt launch on November 10 we want players to be aware of certain issues and information before logging in the first time. A thread (1/8):— Bungie Help (@BungieHelp) November 10, 2020
Some notable tidbits of information for new players taken from the tweets are below:
- Season Passes will be applied to the first set of characters that signs in. If you plan to Cross Save but will use other characters later, it's recommended to set up Cross Save before logging in.
- Players who dismantle the Stasis fragment quests must wait a week before picking up a new one
- Kill-based weapon perks may work inconsistently on Stasis frozen shatter kills.
- Exo Challenge activities don't grant a reward for players below the Soft Power Cap.
These are just a few of the pieces of information provided by the team, but please read through the entirety of the thread for more information. You should also check out the weaponry changes that you can expect to see in the Beyond Light patch.
