Bungie has launched its 5th annual charity fundraising event, Game2Give. The team is also teasing a few upcoming releases to look out for in Destiny 2.
The Game2Give campaign is raising money for Little Lights, an organization that helps children and their families. The campaign will run through February 4th, and the Bungie Foundation will feature 20 Legacy emblems from previous historical campaigns to earn through donation and fundraising for the charity campaign. These emblems will be available for a limited time, so if you are missing any in your collection, now is your chance to grab them by also doing some good.
You can start earning rewards by donating and earning credits towards additional rewards. Donating $7 USD will earn you one credit toward the selection of rewards, including those legacy emblems, and more. Additional ways to earn credits that you can exchange and you can even share rewards with others like friends or family or even with your community. Bungie also been teasing a little bit more about what we can expect in Destiny 2 between now and the June 4th release of The Final Shape. Moments of Triumph returns on January 30th to reflect on your achievements during the last year of Lightfall and earn some rewards. Riven’s Wishes, also coming january 30th, will offer weekly options to complete and choose high-value rewards. The Glimmer cap will be doubled to 500k in that update.
Destiny 2 will also introduce new options to let you customize your existing Guardians’ looks through character customization options like body type, faces, hair, and markings. They’ll also reset the Synthwave bounty cap so you can potentially unlock armor ornaments for even more customization possibilities.
In April, Destiny 2: Into the Light is coming, part of the promised new content that will bridge the journey to The Final Shape on June 4th.
