Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is launching ver.2 on June 7th.
Sega has a new trailer and has announced all of the major details on the next big update. Coming in the update is The Creative Space, which the team is calling an upgrade and an “evolution” from Personal Quarters.
The team gave some hints at what was coming a few months ago, but now there are some details on the feature. By collecting materials known as Build Parts, which are modifiable, you'll be able to build and edit an island of your own. This means you'll be able to create interiors and exteriors, and you can even change the island’s terrain. You can change the color and scale of Build Parts, and create smaller structures, Or team up with friends to work together and make big buildings.
You can buy parts with Genesis Points, a new currency point system. You will be able to get GP by doing weekly and limited-time tasks, and from the GP tree in the Creative Space. To get started, there will also be a Build Parts pack you can buy in the cash shop with items like a swimming pool. Sega is also adding a special Sonic themed collaboration pack to the shop, including costumes and Build Parts
Once you have your exteriors and Interiors built, there is something called The Connect System that enables you to do things like open and close the doors, turn on the lights, and even make activities to take place on your island or in your buildings. You can also save your creations as Designs and you can freely share them with others. If they have the right Build Parts, they can duplicate them in their own island spaces.
Well this will be a huge change, there's more on the way, including chapter 6 of the main story, with part one on the way, along with some quality of life changes.
