Brutal Viking RPG 'RUNE' to Launch Early Access on September 19th

If you're looking for brutal Viking action, RUNE has your back. The open-world Viking-themed RPG will be launching into Early Access on September 19th. From now through EA launch, interested players can leverage at 15% discount. RUNE is the "spiritual successor" to Rune Classic, but one where the team is "pushing even further [the boundaries of PvP] with intense, brutal combat mechanics not often seen in these types of games," said Project Lead Chris Rhinehart.

Set in Midgard during Ragnarok, the end of days, Rune lets players align with their chosen god as they pillage villages for powerful weapons and armor, complete quests for their deity and receive blessings of strength and magic, all to save the realm from the trickster god Loki! Adventure by land and sea across a vast world of wonder and danger alone, with friends or against real opponents in PvP battles. Drink mead and vanquish monsters, beasts, the living and undead with brutal Viking power.

Fans can pre-order RUNE Founder's Packs in a number of versions, each with the 15% discount and a number of in-game items including special gear or the game's soundtrack. In addition, the first 10,000 pre-order customers will also receive RUNE Classic.
