Broken Ranks has updated its Valentine's Day event with new rewards, challenges, and your first chance to complete the Heart's Desire skin set.
The event begins today and runs through February 21st. This year's event is a little different as you won't need to gather resources to get into the Valentine's day party. You'll have to talk to one of the de Vries administrators and complete two trials, one for courage and one for charm.
By doing this, you'll prove you're worthy to participate in the party. Along the way you'll also get rewards as you work through the trials and complete the event quest. Rewards could include experience, upgrade flasks, boss entry items, gear upgrade items, and more. All of the rewards and their numbers will be adjusted to your level range. The lower ranges’ rewards will concentrate on potions instead of things like entry items and gear upgrades.
You'll also find gifts along the way like a rose bouquet or a love letter that you can give to someone special if you’d like. You can send letters to characters in the game, just by writing a short message of up to 250 characters. Other letters sent around will be distributed to players via the announcement system. Every participant will get the new Valentine's Day boots skin, Advances. If you've collected all the other pieces so far, now you'll have a complete Heart’s Desire set. If you haven't collected those items in previous years, the other items are all available in the premium store if you want to complete the collection. Those will remain available until March 3rd.
