Whitemoon Games has released its big Shadow of Hope content update for Broken Ranks, adding multiple new zones, new quest areas, a new boss instance, and endgame content.
The free update also opens up the next part of the main storyline.This new narrative quest lets you know more about the fate of the Taernians who seek to return to their homeland. This is a big content update for the isometric MMORPG and opens up seven new areas. These include the University District, Remnant Hideout, and Occupied Thalia. There are also three new Quest areas, and that new boss instance that has three difficulty levels.
There are 17 new mobs in the game, including three champions, one elite, and a boss in the White District. The new boss instance has three difficulty levels where you can battle the Heurokratos. There are five lootable all-new Legendary gear pieces from this boss. This should give high level players some new goals to aim for. Since the team also opened up some more build options with the overhauled enhancement system, if you haven’t played in a while, things may take some exploration to get used to.
In addition to all of these zones, bosses, and mobs to fight, the update includes new tasks, daily quests, and a special dynamic mini-event that will take place in one of the new areas.
The Broken Ranks team is also marking the game’s second anniversary with gifts for the player. Active players and returning ones will get a free week of Premium, and new characters can also get the bonus via a special code: SOH.
To mark the release of Shadow of Hope, there’s also a free premium armor skin that will match the brand new boss challenge: Heurokratos’ Cuirass.
