Britain's Prince Harry has come out publicly calling for a ban of Fortnite. The comments were made at a West London YMCA where he further elaborated that games like Fortnite are designed to addict youngsters. "The game shouldn't be allowed. Where is the benefit of having it in your household?" he said. It's created to addict, an addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It's so irresponsible."
Continuing, the Duke of Sussex said, "A game like Fortnite, for instance, may not be so good for children. Parents have got their hands up; they don't know what to do about it. It's like waiting for the damage to be done and kids turning up on your doorsteps and families being broken down."
The Prince was speaking at an event held by Heads Together, "a mental health initiative headed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex".
Express.co.uk interviewed former professional gamer Sujoy Roy who disagrees with Prince Harry. "Fortnite isn't the first hit game to have had a bad press and it won't be the last. Parents should keep a close eye on what their kids are playing and doing online. But like many games, Fortnite is a really fun and sociable way to spend free time and should be enjoyed responsibly."
