QC Games is a studio packed with ex-BioWare developers and one that is hard at work on Breach, as revealed by PC Gamer. Breach is an asymmetrical dungeon crawler that takes place in the future "where the barriers between the arcane and the mundane are breaking down". The world is a "mashup of high fantasy and cyberpunk tech".
The game sees four players choose roles from several highly customizable classes and a fifth player taking part as a Veil Demon, "an omnipresent dungeon master-type deity who can lay traps, set obstacles, and personally possess and control the monsters in the corridors". Each session will last approximately 15 minutes and should feel very different every session.
Breach will be free to play when it launches, with more classes and builds unlocking over time.
