Another class for the upcoming Elden Ring: Nightreign spin-off game has been unveiled, and it’s a classic. The latest Nightreign trailer shows off Ironeye, who, fittingly for his name, wields a bow and arrow to fight through his enemies.
Ironeye is the latest of the Nightfarers, which are the player characters that can be utilized in the standalone Elden Ring title. Each Nightfarer touts a different class; while Ironeye is an archer, for example, we also have the rogue-like Duchess and the Recluse mage.
The combat for Ironeye is shown as swift yet powerful with his bow and arrow. We’re shown some of the variety of attacks possible, including fire arrows, split multitarget arrows, and one that drives through, and partially knocks back, several enemies in one straight hit. This trailer also shows a finisher where an arrow is shot point-black right into an enemy’s back and pulled right out.
Nightreign will have eight playable Nightfarer "heroes" when it launches in May; it's seen intermittent beta/network testing here and there in the meantime.
