Borderlands 3 received a new trailer today dubbed, “So Happy Together.” And yes, it totally features the song from The Turtles.

Featuring a lot of guns, trippy visuals, and dancing, the trailer doesn’t really tell us much about the gameplay, other than it’s going to be colorful and bombastic.

In related news, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford confirmed via a short Twitter thread that Borderlands 3 will not receive crossplay when it launches on September 13. With crossplay slowly but surely becoming more normalized across the industry, some may see this as a disappointment for a shooter series which has historically emphasized cooperative play.

Pitchford didn’t completely rule out crossplay, however, saying, “We are committed to supporting cross-play for Borderlands 3 with our partners as soon as practicable after launch.”
