For the Japanese server it looks to be one massive shared server with population caps in certain areas and little to no loading in zones. It remains to be seen whether this will transfer to the final game or if this is just for now, but for now, count this only for Japan.
The team said that monetization will include a season pass (free and paid) and a shop. The shop will feature cosmetics, mounts, and have other stuff like accessories and other items.
