Over in Japan, the Blue Protocol devs had a recent livestream sharing some of the changes in the works for the Japanese version of the game.
The folks over at Blue Protocol Database have added some translations to help those of us who do not understand Japanese to take a peek at how things are going.
The particular patch they have been describing includes a number of UI and HUD changes, and a number of responses to player feedback and data. Adventure Boards, where you’ll find quests, are getting some changes for efficiency. If you haven't started a board yet then it won't appear on your HUD, and if you complete some boards, those will go into a separate tab to make sure things don't get cluttered. You can still see your progress but it won't all take up space in the immediate view.
In terms of gameplay, one of the announcements was that players will be able to start Gathering while they are mounted. There are a number of skill and balance changes that affect several classes. The August 16th update will add the new class, the Blitz Lancer, in addition to other new enemies, a level up campaign for those who are starting a new Blitz Lancer, a social media gacha reward campaign, and Season 2.
There are also more changes revealed but not detailed just yet that may come in October. Some of those include new customization options via more beauty salon tickets so you can do things like change your character's hair or makeup, and more Adventure Board tweaks, this time counting progress retroactively.
Other stuff on the way are enhancements to the party finder and the party system, including a way to see who has the system activated, vote kick for parties, some expansion of the possible build options and skills for characters. Based on feedback, they're also looking for ways to diversify and improve combat.
