The closed beta for Blue Protocol has been delayed. The culprit? Coronavirus.

The news was shared on the official Bandai Namco Twitter which said (thanks to Google Translate),

“To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection and to ensure the safety of operation and development staff, the preparation and development of CBT is expected to be delayed, and the CBT schedule, which was scheduled for late March or later, has been changed. You will. If you are looking forward to CBT, I am sorry”

The tweet links to the official site which, again thanks to Google Translate, says that the beta may take place in mid-April, though this could still change.

Recently, a “Blue Protocol” trademark was registered by Bandari Namco for NA and EU, hinting at a Western release.

Thanks, Altchar.
