Blizzard Proudly Announces 30 Million Players

Blizzard has proudly announced that Overwatch has scored 30 million players in its first year. The announcement was made via the Overwatch Twitter account with an appropriately juggernaut-ish looking Reinhardt and with gratitude to its community.

Not bad for a game that isn't even a year old yet, right?

In other news, Game Director Jeff Kaplan told forum users that three maps are in the pipeline for 2017 and another three that are in the works, likely out next year.
