Blizzard @PAX: Hearthstone, Overwatch & Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard is on hand at this weekend's PAX East convention with a live presentation that will shine the spotlight on Overwatch, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. You can tune in for yourself on the PAX2 Twitch channel for the presentation that is about to begin at 10:30 Eastern / 7:30 Pacific. We'll be updating this post as well.

• Heroes of the Storm - Tomb of the Spider Queen map to debut at PAX East this weekend, very small like a "knife fight in a closet". NEXT HERO- SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER Clan system coming; adding the ability to mute allies if needed; rating systems being considered; progression being overhauled after community feedback -- more gold, more stuff to buy; abilities going from 11 to 20. eSports to include Heroes of the Dorm - a North American $450,000 collegiate gaming event where individuals compete for tuition for their career. Will be shown on ESPN both online and on television.
• Overwatch - It's a game about heroes. Every Blizzard game wants to bring out the hero in our players. Mechanically it's a PVP game at its core. 6v6 team-based shooter with a focus on the heroes. Epic over the top abilities for heroes. In OW, the abilities the heroes can do are the most defining things. New map, Watchpoint Gibraltar, brings the OW history into the game. Two new heroes: The Outlaw Jesse McCree - the ultimate futuristic gunslinger, a deadeye with his peacekeeper revolver that can snipe all the way across the map but is useful at mid- and close-range; Alexandra Zaryanova - first female tank in OW; short to medium range particle canon with particle explosions; can place a particle barrier on herself or a teammate that can block line of sight; Graviton Surge is her ultimate ability - a gravity well that sucks in all enemies to a central point. • Hearthstone - Mobile version is in alpha within Blizzard and will be out in the next couple months. BLACKROCK MOUNTAIN is the next Hearthstone adventure.
