With the new expansion to World of Warcraft, The War Within, coming sometime this year, the developers have opened up beta sign-ups for the Public Test Realm whenever it goes live.
Public Test realms have been implemented in World of Warcraft for eons now, and today the signups to get in on the action for The War Within expansion have officially opened. Of course, signing up doesn’t guarantee entry, it's as easy as clicking a few buttons and hoping for the best once they do release the test realm.
Just like the previous signups, if your account gets selected there will be a new PTR located within the World of Warcraft version drop down menu automatically. From there you just have to download it and login to gain access to the new content. If you would much rather have access guaranteed, well, Blizzard thought of that this time around.
For a whopping $90, you can choose The War Within Epic Edition and get automatic access to the Beta test and Early Access to the game. Though this is an extremely hefty price to pay, for those who want the earliest access possible for sure, this appears to be the only way.
Now, not only do we have The War Within to look forward to, but for the first time ever, Blizzard announced the next two expansions as well. The Worldsoul Saga will all come together over the three total expansions, The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan. Though there is no release date as of yet, we do know that Blizzard will be counting down to The War Within collector's edition, which is teeming with goodies for the die-hard WoW fans.
