Leading off BlizzCon 2019, the Blizzard team showed off its first trailers for Diablo IV, the latest entry in the legendary series. The new trailers showcase a gritty, grimy look at the Blizzard's hell-raising series is in stark contrast the look of Diablo III.
Taking place “many years after the events of Diablo III,” the trailer shows the series go back to its dark roots, with director Luis Barriga mentioning that the upcoming Diablo release is being approached with “complete reverence” to its past.
A new gameplay showed off Diablo IV in action, giving players a first look at the isometric, bloody and dark gameplay the series has been known for. Showcasing the Barbarian, the Sorceress and the Druid classes in action, with both PvP and co-op action. Hitting PC, Xbox and PS4, no release date for Diablo IV was given, but the game will be discussed and dissected more as BlizzCon unfolds through the weekend.
