As part of the latest hotfix to World of Warcraft, Blizzard has now made completing a Torghast layer unlock account-wide.
The patch note specific to this fix states,
“Completing a layer on any character now unlocks that layer for all characters on the same WoW account who meet the requirements to enter Torghast.”
Blizzard released a more detailed explanation on their forums providing some reasoning behind this change. It seems like this change is targeting players who want to complete Torghast across multiple characters. However, they do offer a heads up,
“Players who have been running Torghast regularly should now find their highest layer available on their alts. This unlock sharing can’t look back very far though, so if you haven’t run Torghast in a while, you’ll need to complete a run on your main, and you’ll then see the higher layers available on your alts.”
The rest of the hotfix addresses Kyrian Covenant Companions, Venthyr Covenant Companions, Night Fae Covenant Companions, Dungeons, PvP, Quests, and more.
