Blizzard Introduces Another World of Warcraft Cash Shop Mount

The World of Warcraft team has introduced another cash shop mount that can be purchased as part of a 6-month subscription plan or individually. The half-year subscription plus the Sylverian Dreamer mount is $77.94, the equivalent of $12.99 per month. The mount can be purchased separately for $25.00. Players who already have a running 6-month subscription will receive the mount for free sometime in early July.

An artist in the magical city of Dalaran fell asleep on her brush and dreamed of painting a beautiful feathered dragon. Her artwork leapt from the page, and when she awoke, she found the Sylverian Dreamer sleeping gently beside her.

The video introducing the Sylverian Dreamer is not being well-received by viewers and currently there are nearly three times as many "downvotes" as "upvotes" on YouTube. Many of the comments cite the fact that this new mount and subscription bundle is coming near the end of the first half of the fiscal year just ahead of the shareholder report.

Some players are reporting that the mount cannot be purchased for BattleNet Balance which can be acquired through the use of in-game gold. It appears that it is a cash-only purchase.

Blizzard ran a similar promotion in late 2018 for the Dreadwake mount that came with a 6-month subscription. It was not able to be purchased separately, however, until months later.
